MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: JUNE 22 – 28!
This week was super busy work wise, but with a chance to dress up and get a little spiffy on a Monday night. The extended weekend meant time at both the beach and the desert with a trip to Palm Springs (that will be it’s own post later too).
Enjoy!

Blending in with the environment today

Lunchin’ with some so-so soup today

TRIED to do a nicer hairstyle with no bobbypins and it only held for like…15 seconds. Enough for this photo.

At an opening at the museum and this breadstick/cheese ball combo greeted me with O__O

Dressed up with somewhere to go

Gorgeous evening, I didn’t even mind I was at “work” technically for like 13 hours

Deer munching on the helipad grass

Walking up the hill has made my morning ritual even better

Looking especially baby in this dress, but I still wear it

Beautiful evening on the Westside

The beautiful Plan Check fried chicken burger

And the lovely Miranda modeling the appropriate amount of old fashioneds you should have after a rough work week

Hitting up Daiso and the Japanese market

Who doesn’t love a little Wednesday night karaoke

Tweedy reacting to his new toy from Daiso

Thursday afternoon, munching on my chocolate-covered banana pocky in the car

Currently in San Juan Capistrano, picking up some guacamole from a nearby Mexican spot

CLAM pizza for dinner. Not bad!

And a gorgeous (but chilly) sunset

Gorgeous gorgeous paper flowers by The Lovely Ave

The views between the beach and the desert

One of my favorites things to do is stop at roadside viewpoints and general stores

Quick pit stop at the Parker to scope out the hotel and the gardens

And then to the airbnb to celebrate Joe’s b-day

Night swimming in Palm Springs feels so great. It’s still over 90 degrees F in the desert at night.

This gorgeous mid-century modern home is soooooo Jetsons and sooooo Palm Springs Mad Men.

Quick pics and then we’re out to do some touristy goodness.

I’ve been so excited to visit the Palm Springs Art Museum, and finally got a chance to visit.

Not a HUGE space, but full of a great variety of works.

I’ll share more in another post about an “Afternoon in Palm Springs”

Totoro in the candy shop….*the best*

Oh my gooood!!!!!! THESE ARE SO RARE. I bought them all.

Beautiful ride up the Palm Springs aerial tram

There’s a FOREST up here up in the middle of the desert. It’s technically San Jacinto National Park if you wanna google!

Not for those with a fear of heights

We drove out to the Noah Purifoy Desert Art Museum.

I’ll share more photos and video from the time we spent at dusk wandering around the assemblages.

And then we hit the road and headed all the way back home

Extra snuggly when I come back from a few nights away

Hidden Mickey set up of breakfast from one of my favorite breakfast spots

Attempting to do a hairmask…all I have is a plastic bag. T__T

The week ended with a beautiful sunset AND a rainbow.
Much love friends!
